Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to paid subscriptions purchased through WholeMealGuide. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the terms outlined below. This policy supplements our Terms of Use.

1. Subscription Plans & Billing

WholeMealGuide offers both free and paid (Pro) subscription plans. Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis through our authorized Merchant of Record.

All payment processing is handled by our authorized Merchant of Record. WholeMealGuide does not receive or store your payment card details.

2. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Account settings. Upon cancellation:

  • You will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
  • Your subscription will not renew at the end of the billing period.
  • No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing period.

3. Refund Policy

As a general rule, all subscription charges are final and non-refundable. This includes monthly and annual subscription fees.

We may, at our sole discretion, consider refund requests in exceptional circumstances such as:

  • Duplicate charges caused by a technical error.
  • Service unavailability for an extended period due to issues on our end.

To request a refund in such cases, contact us at support@wholemealguide.com within 14 days of the charge.

4. Right of Withdrawal (EU/UK)

By purchasing a paid subscription, you expressly consent to receiving immediate access to our digital content and paid features. You acknowledge and agree that by accessing the service immediately, you waive your statutory right of withdrawal (such as the 14-day cooling-off period in the EU/UK).

This waiver is in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), Article 16(m), which provides an exception to the right of withdrawal for the supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium if the performance has begun with the consumer's prior express consent.

5. Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing at any time. Existing subscribers will be notified of pricing changes before they take effect and will have the option to cancel before being charged at the new rate.

6. Consumer Protection

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any rights you may have under mandatory local consumer protection laws. Where local law provides greater consumer protections, those protections apply.
