3. Service Description

WholeMealGuide is an AI-powered nutritional estimation tool that analyzes user-provided meal descriptions, voice input, and meal photos to generate approximate nutritional breakdowns and algorithmic ingredient variations. The service is provided for informational and educational purposes only.

WholeMealGuide uses artificial intelligence, which is inherently imprecise. All nutritional values, metrics, and variations are approximations.

4. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. WholeMealGuide shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your account information.

5. Accuracy Disclaimer & Assumption of Risk

All nutritional estimates are AI-generated approximations for informational purposes only. They are NOT precise lab measurements. Daily targets are based on Standard Daily Reference Values (DRV) and nutritional data is sourced from the USDA FoodData Central database.

WholeMealGuide does NOT guarantee detection of all allergens. If you have food allergies or intolerances, always verify ingredients independently. Do not rely solely on this tool for allergen avoidance.

Nutrient values (vitamins, minerals, macros) are estimates that may vary significantly from actual values depending on specific ingredients, portion sizes, and preparation methods. Do not use these estimates as the sole basis for managing nutrient intake of specific nutrients.

You acknowledge that food allergies, intolerances, and individual nutritional needs vary. AI-generated estimates may be inaccurate. By using the service, you accept responsibility for verifying information relevant to your nutritional requirements.

6. No Medical Advice

WholeMealGuide is NOT a medical device, a diagnostic tool, or a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The nutritional estimates, ingredient variations, and nutritional data provided by WholeMealGuide are for general informational purposes only.

Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your nutrition. The data presented by WholeMealGuide is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition.

Use of the platform does not create any professional-client, medical, or advisory relationship between you and WholeMealGuide or its creators.

7. Right to Terminate and Restrict Access

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to WholeMealGuide at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever. This includes, but is not limited to, a breach of these Terms, excessive usage that burdens our infrastructure, or suspected automated/bot abuse of our API and service.

8. Payments, Subscriptions, and Cancellations

WholeMealGuide offers both free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis through our authorized Merchant of Record.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing at any time. Existing subscribers will be notified of pricing changes before they take effect and will have the option to cancel before being charged at the new rate.

All payment processing is handled by our authorized Merchant of Record. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

9. No Warranty & Limitation of Liability

WholeMealGuide is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, WholeMealGuide and its creators shall not be liable for ANY damages (direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential) arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims shall not exceed the amount paid by you for accessing the service (which is $0 for free users).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WholeMealGuide and its creators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, violation of these Terms, or food choices you make based on our outputs.

11. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Exercising independent judgment regarding your food choices
  • Consulting qualified healthcare professionals before making nutritional changes
  • Independently verifying any nutritional information provided by the service
  • Bearing full responsibility for your food choices and their consequences
  • Acceptable Use: Using the service solely for its intended purpose of nutritional data analysis.
  • Prohibited Content: You strictly agree NOT to upload, submit, or transmit any text, voice, or image data that is illegal, explicit, pornographic, offensive, violent, infringing on intellectual property, or entirely unrelated to food and meal analysis. We reserve the right to delete violating content, suspend accounts, and report severe violations to relevant authorities.

12. Intellectual Property

All content, design, software, and technology associated with WholeMealGuide are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the service without prior written consent.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at our sole discretion. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (e.g., via email or a prominent notice on the platform). Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in the State of Israel or the user's country of residence.
